You’ve spent so much time caring (read: obsessing) about what they need that you’ve lost sight of what you need.

Are you asking too much?

Constantly walking on eggshells?

  • You find yourself saying "yes" when you want to say "no," yet the thought of setting boundaries (or even knowing what “boundaries” are) feels overwhelming.

  • You dream of speaking up with clarity and confidence, but self-doubt, guilt, and fear hold you back.

  • The echoes of past experiences (if you’re an ACoA, had a dysfunctional family, or past narcissistic relationships) repeat in your mind. You are having touble trusting your own instincts.

Hi, I’m Ayla Fleming

I’m here to help you stop the codependency (over-functioning, people-pleasing) cycle, regain clarity (and your voice), or maybe even gain these skills for the first time.

Whether you want to stay with your partner or not, it is important you learn these skills to be happy and let go of the anxiety to control other adults’ actions.

Therapy with me is a collaborative journey where we build a strong foundation of trust and mutual respect, creating a safe and accepting space for your transformation. I get it, because I have been there too.

How I can help

My services:

A woman with long dark hair sitting cross-legged on a wooden floor, dressed in black, with close eyes and a content smile. In front of her is a white cake, a bouquet of white roses, and a golden candelabrum with three unlit candles. Behind her is a vintage wooden sideboard decorated with a plant in a woven basket, a white and blue vase, and a small Buddha statue, all against a decorated wall with artwork.
Two women standing barefoot on a landscape with hills in the background, dressed in dark coats, looking at the camera during dusk or dawn.
A couple sitting closely on a park bench, about to kiss, with a building and parked cars in the background.

Why choose
Ayla Fleming Psychotherapy?

I primarily use evidence-based Bowen Family Systems Theory and Addiction/ Codependency Education to inform treatment.

I cultivate a warm therapeutic relationship to help you achieve meaningful, lasting change within both yourself and your relationship.

As an intentionally micro-boutique practice, I offer personalized attention and care far beyond what larger clinics can provide. I meet with most of my clients weekly until they feel fully confident to implement the skills independently.

Frequently asked questions

  • I work with individual adults, couples, and families impacted by addiction. I teach them skills to fix unhealthy or toxic communication, overcome codependency, set and hold boundaries, and increase vulnerability and love.

  • My practice operates fully online through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, offering you convenience and privacy.

  • Weekly sessions are $250/hour. Many of my clients use their out-of-network insurance benefits to get 50-80% of session fees covered.
